David Goldman, MS, RD, CSCS, FAND, has an Ivy League degree in applied physiology and nutrition and is currently pursuing a PhD in these fields as well. He has taught coursework at Columbia University on physical fitness, weight management, and relaxation, coached and counseled Division I athletes at Columbia, conducted obesity research at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital, helped launch a nutrition program at Facebook HQ, worked as Director of Fitness and Nutrition at TrueNorth Health Center, and served as the Chief Science Advisor for The Game Changers documentary. David is the recipient of a Fulbright scholarship and NIH funding, and is currently a visiting researcher at the University of Helsinki as well as Director of Research and Development at Metabite, Inc. David has published a textbook chapter and multiple peer-reviewed journal articles regarding plant-based diets for health promotion and exercise performance. He is passionate about the use of lifestyle medicine for the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases.
